Bud Tibshrany Retires from Time Warner


 

Bud Tibshrany, Vice President of Public Affairs for Time Warner Cable's South Carolina Division, retired this year from the cable television industry after forty-two years of service.

Bud is also a distinguished past-president of the Columbia Kiwanis Club.

At his retirement party on June 21st at the Seibels House, Bud was presented with the following retirement gifts:

  • Mayor Coble presented Bud with the key to the city.

  • A representative from Congressman Wilson’s office presented Bud with a letter of acclamation for the US Congress.

  • Gifts from Time Warner, including Gamecock golf bag, the title (framed) to his company car, and the wonderful reception.

  • The Dean’s conference room at the USC school of journalism to be named after Bud.
